Majolica Majorca's Cream Eye Shadow

Majolica Majorca’s cream eye shadow has been one of my favourites recently. Not a relatively new product, but I feel a need to do a review on it cause it’s so good and cheap that I must give it a thumbs up!

The texture is so easy to blend and the staying power is amazing. The fine shimmer works very well in brightening the eyes and can be used on its own as your eye shadow if you only want a soft and subtle finish. When used a base, you will be surprised how well it helps to bring out the color of your powder eye shadow.

Why spend more when you can get a better product for less?! Remember to pick one up on your next visit to Watson’s!

Our monthly makeup seminar aims to provide our clients a platform to mingle and ask any questions they have on skincare and makeup. It is a FREE seminar, and we usually have a skincare expert from Skin Formulation to talk about basic skincare, follow by a demonstration makeup session and a Q&A session.

Though our clients will be given first priority, it is also open to anyone who’s interested. :)All you have to do is call and book your seat! If you’ve always wondered what the proper makeup steps are and never really know how to start, come join us in our next seminar!

A Must-have Remover Cleansing Gel

Skin Formulation’s Remover Cleansing Gel

Now that we know the importance of cleansing, the next step is of course to own a good makeup remover and cleanser. Skin Formulation’s Remover Cleansing Gel has been our favorite and we have never switched to other brands ever since we discover its presence. This Remover Cleansing Gel can be used as both cleanser and makeup remover, and its 2 in 1 purpose is definitely a good idea for busy urban ladies! We do try new products to see if there are better ones around, but be sure that so far nothing has been good enough to win us over. :D

Though cleansing oil is very effective in removing makeup, if not cleansed properly, oil residue may clog our pores and cause skin problems. Foam cleanser on the other hand tends to be harsh on skin, leaving our skin tight and dry after cleansing. Skin Formulation’s Cleansing Gel has been serving us very well by effectively removing all makeup and impurities and yet at the same time leaving our face hydrated.

Fruit Extract is the main ingredient in this cleansing gel, and it is this ingredient that gives the gel its texture. Fruit extract is found to be very effective in removing makeup and impurities on our skin. And because it is a natural ingredient, it is very gentle on our skin. Cucumber extract is another important ingredient. As we all know cucumber is well known for its hydrating and soothing effect.

This cleansing gel is so effective that even pen marks can be easily removed. But, the best thing is that though it is powerful, it is however gentle on our skin! A must have for all ladies!

Beautiful skin... The key to a flawless makeup base

Keeping our face clean is the first step to beautiful skin, while beautiful skin is the key to a flawless makeup. How much do you know about cleansing?

Cleansing is an essential step every day and night. In the morning, cleansing your face awakens your skin to a new day. At night, it removes all the dirt you have built up during the day. Removing makeup is part of cleansing, and is a very important step to avoid your pores from being clogged.

NOTE:
~ If you use tinted moisturizer, sunblock or B.B. cream, make sure you remove them by using makeup remover!
~ If you use oil based makeup remover, it is a MUST to wash your face again with facial cleanser. The high oil content in oil based makeup remover tends to clog pores, hence double cleansing is essential.

TIPS:
~ Always wash your face with cold water to minimize pores! Never wash your face with hot water as it can cause broken capillaries which leads to dry skin.

~ 如果你用的是卸妆油，一定要再次用洗脸剂洗脸。卸妆油容易残留油脂，造成毛孔阻塞，所以必须使用大量的洗脸剂和水把油脂带走。

~ 请用冷水洗脸！热水会破坏皮脂膜，过度清洁肌肤上的油脂会让皮肤变得干燥。

Personal Makeup Course 个人彩妆课程

Last 2 months has been an exciting journey not only for Amy, Guo Jing and Jessica, but also for us. From knowing almost nothing about makeup to being able to DIY their own makeup and look glamorous for any occasions, we as trainers are so proud of them! Above are some of the pictures taken during our classes. :) Look at their graduation photo... Almost as good as a professional makeup artist's work!

Another class will be commencing on 3rd November, and we're definitely looking forward to another exciting journey with our students! Due to overwhelming response, we are considering of opening another class on 4th November. What a blessing to receive such good response!

辛苦了2个月，Amy, Guo Jing, Jessica 终于毕业咯！作为老师，最高兴的当然是看到学生学习的成果。从对彩妆一无所知到能够为自己化上一个完美的彩妆，确实不简单。但是你看看他们毕业当天为自己化的妆，就知道他们有多认真学习了！：）化得不赖哦。。。

另一堂的个人彩妆课程又即将开办了！由于11月3日的人数已满，我们正考虑在11月4日再加一班。看到大家对我们的课程的反应这么热烈真让我们感到开心。我们所花的心思总算没有白费哦！：）
